What we do
We take on five kinds of work. Most engagements need two or three of them, and we will say which when we understand the problem.
Digital Transformation
Replacing or modernising systems a business already depends on, without taking them offline.
- 60%
- Faster loan processing at a retail bank
- 40%
- Lower operating cost, same bank
Replacing a legacy system usually means changing the process around it and retraining the people who operate it. We plan for both, and move the platform across in stages so the service it supports stays available throughout.
- Enterprise modernisation
- Business process automation
- Cloud adoption & migration
- Digital governance frameworks
- Legacy system decommissioning
- Operating model design
Product Engineering
Building software products from a first version through to production scale.
- 60%
- Fewer defects reaching production
- 40%
- Shorter test cycles
We work as a product team: a small senior group, a roadmap with a named owner and regular releases. The architecture is set up so the product can be extended later rather than rebuilt.
- Enterprise platforms
- SaaS product development
- MVP & zero-to-one builds
- Product design & strategy
- UX engineering
- Design systems
Intelligent Systems
Machine learning and AI systems, including the work required to run them in production.
- 40%
- Fewer network outages for a telecom operator
- 25%
- Drop in fraudulent transactions at a bank
A model that performs well in a trial still has to pass procurement, audit and daily operation. We build the surrounding system alongside it, including evaluation, human review, data lineage and rollback.
- Applied artificial intelligence
- Agentic AI & autonomous workflows
- Machine learning engineering
- Large language model systems
- Computer vision
- AI/ML advisory & roadmaps
Emerging Technologies
Blockchain, asset tokenisation and post-quantum cryptography.
- 2018
- APAC top ten blockchain solution provider
- 3
- Token platforms shipped to production
Our first production ledger system shipped in 2016. In 2018 APAC CIO Outlook listed Exioms among the region's top ten blockchain solution providers. The practice now covers tokenisation of assets, central bank digital currency architecture and migration to post-quantum cryptography.
- Blockchain platforms
- Asset tokenisation
- CBDC & digital currency architecture
- Digital asset custody
- Quantum technologies
- Post-quantum cryptography (PQC)
Engineering Services
Senior engineers working inside a client's team and to the client's standards.
- 50%
- Cut in a client's time-to-hire
- 24/7
- Managed service coverage
Where a client has its own roadmap and needs capacity rather than direction, we supply named senior engineers who join the existing team and report to the client's technical lead. The work covers DevSecOps, cloud platform engineering, API integration and test automation.
- Agile development pods
- DevSecOps & platform engineering
- Cloud engineering
- API design & integration
- Test automation as a service
- Managed services & support

How a programme runs
Five stages, one accountable firm.
- 01
Discover
We establish what the programme has to achieve, who signs it off, which regulations apply and what condition the existing systems are in. The output is a roadmap and a costed plan, which the client keeps regardless of who builds it.
- 02
Design
Architecture and interface design happen together, run by the people who will be on the build. This is where we establish what the system needs to integrate with and what it will cost to operate.
- 03
Build
Delivery runs in fixed cycles with a named lead. Security review and automated testing sit inside each cycle rather than in a separate phase before release.
- 04
Integrate
Connecting the new system to the estate around it. This is usually the largest single item in an enterprise programme, and we scope it explicitly rather than treating it as contingency.
- 05
Operate
We continue to run the system under an agreed service level, reporting against availability and the business outcome set out at the start.
Ways to work with us
The commercial shape should follow the risk.
Project-based delivery
A defined scope at a fixed price, with delivery risk carried by us.
Dedicated development centre
A ring-fenced team operating as an extension of the client's engineering function, working to the client's standards.
Resource augmentation
Named senior engineers embedded in existing teams, with capacity reviewed quarterly.
Build-operate-transfer
We establish the offshore capability, run it to steady state and then transfer the team and its assets to the client.
Managed services
Ongoing operation of the platform against agreed availability and performance targets.
Subject matter expert as a service
Access to regulatory, clinical or compliance specialists for the duration of a programme, without a permanent hire.
